My name is Cornelia, an architect and self-taught artist currently based in the United Kingdom. My artistic journey began a decade ago in Odense, Denmark, where I first embraced my passion for art, starting the self-taught journey.
In my work, each creation is a deep, multifaceted process. Layers of meaning intertwine—symbols, compositions, colors, and lighting blend with my inner emotions. This process starts with quick, exploratory sketches, evolving into the final, detailed composition. My art is an ongoing journey through various themes and techniques, from animals and architecture to ballerinas and landscapes. Central to my work is the aspiration to connect with more people, hoping that each piece not only captures their attention but also brings a moment of joy and a smile to their day.

Polar BEARS, FRIENDS and Porcelain

The following paintings are part of my ongoing series inspired by polar bears, Royal Copenhagen porcelain and other animals. The association between the polar bears and the porcelain creates a slightly surreal pairing: the fragility of the porcelain next to the strong, grounded presence of the bear. In each composition, these two symbols are brought into a delicate visual balance.
